We currently have a tremendous opportunity for an Int’l Sales Director with the first focus for the New England area who is self-motivated, career oriented and seek to achieve a high level of success. Your job will support the American industrial business effort and facilitate the growing American economy.

Your job entails:

–    Contact direct existing customers designated in order to achieve sales results in terms of cross sales and up sales and, soon, re-sales.
–    In a top-grading transition approach, support the current business developer to strongly boost sales with representatives of our top performing international distributors within our existing network.
–    List and recruit new VARs in the USA in selected regions.
–    Rapidly engage VARs in the USA to achieve sales objectives by contacting, visiting, training, and maintaining targeted Channel partners; closing deals with partners; being a key resource in a given territory; being responsible for new business development and managing the daily activities associated with corporate strategic selling; initiating marketing programs; assessing and improving performance of the channel; developing sales and technical capabilities, creating sales pipeline, reporting market knowledge and forecasting opportunities.
We are looking for individuals who have had previous experience in channel sales. An engineering/industrial background is also required. You must be eager to learn about new technologies and training tools. You must also be independent, willing to make cold calls, and able to manage your own accounts and your own time.

Main functions
Manage partners to achieve goals established for the assigned territory. Organize activities to gain highest possible sales volume, profitability and market share within assigned territory.

•    Bachelor’s degree engineering.
•    5-7 years sales experience.
•    1-2 years experience in welding industry.
•    Proven track record of accomplishments in closing deals and maintaining relationships.
•    Excellent regional knowledge, background and connections in the territory
•    Willing to travel
•    Experience with a CRM

•    Experience with Salesforce.
•    Experience with simulation or training tools.
•    MBA or business degree.
