Being a Software Developer at 123Cert

When you join 123Cert as a Software Developer, you are entering simulation development. How you’ll experience the VR world will directly reflect how you’ll transform it and how the user will interact & feel within it.

While developing solution with the latest VR & tracking solutions available will fuel your passion for innovative solutions & creative designs.

As an important part of a multi-disciplinary development team, you will transform the user’s experience understanding their needs and creating the perfect environment with efficient coded solution.

What you’ll do

  • Analyze requirements and propose creative solutions
  • Program code and test tools related to those solutions
  • Review code to ensure quality and improve team communication
  • Develop within a multi-disciplinary team including software developers & engineers
  • Meet with marketing & sales team to assess their vision and needs

What it takes

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in general programming, ideally in the simulation or video-game industry.
  • Proficiency in Java, C# or C++ (Coding is in Java)
  • Experience with OpenGL, GLSL (3D real-time rendering is an asset)
  • Experience developing on video-game or simulation hardware (including VR headsets and Detection systems, an asset)
  • Experience with Linux, an asset
  • Creativity & Passion
