123Certification is looking for a DevOps with experience in the Gaming and Simulation Industry.

Being a DevOps at 123Cert

When you join 123Cert as a DevOps, you are entering simulation development. Your vision of a product’s configuration will directly define the way the development and the production are done.

You will play an essential role in developing the infrastructure surrounding the product, as well as implementing the automation of the procedures and processes.

As a core member of a multidisciplinary development team, you will also be contributing to the development of the product. As a result, you will be working with the latest in VR and tracking system technologies.

What you’ll do

  • Work throughout the full infrastructure including design, architecture, communication, security, scaling, failover and recovery
  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities for optimization through smart usage of automation and new technologies
  • Have an essential role in developing and implementing automated processes/procedures with home grown and 3rd party tools
  • Develop within a multi-disciplinary team including software developers & engineers
  • Manage Development, Test, QA, and Production environments and implement future enhancements to meet business needs

What it takes

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in general programming
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in operating business infrastructure
  • Proficiency in Java, C# or C++ (Coding is in Java)
  • Experience with scripting in Bash highly preferred
  • Systems knowledge within the Linux ecosystem
  • Prior work with continuous integration platforms (ie Jenkins)
  • Familiarity with managing distributed systems
  • Creativity & Passion

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience developing on video-game or simulation hardware
