A turkey with seven tail feathers to color one by one, an acorn, an ear of corn, a pumpkin, a fall leaf or big Happy Thanksgiving letters. Pick the picture, add falling leaves around it and print one for every seat at the kids table.
Color the picture. Stay inside the lines if you can, and use any colors you like.
The turkey is the page most kids ask for. Each tail feather has two bands, so a child can make a rainbow tail or stick to fall colors. Stripes or polka dots in the feathers give older kids more to do; the plain page suits preschoolers.
Before dinner, ask each child to write one thing they are thankful for on a feather of the turkey.
